The speech therapist is a speech and communication therapist. Within the CDA, the speech therapist is involved in the assessment of written language and mathematical skills and their rehabilitation.

Rehabilitation takes place in one-to-one care with the aim of consolidating the foundations necessary for learning (work on phonological awareness, sound-letter correlation, orthographic rules, etc.). This is done in a playful and motivating setting for the child.

The coaching and training of teachers is also part of the speech therapist’s tasks.
